Why You Should Never Even Think About Downloading Pc Antispyware

The spread of spyware like PC Antispyware goes much further than just a nuisance.  It is an epidemic.  I have read statistics reporting that 80-90% of computers contain spyware.   There are some cases where spyware is relatively harmless.  In most cases, it is very dangerous.  Programs like PC Antispyware pose a high threat.  This piece of fake spyware will leak your private and confidential information to scammers and other 3rd parties.

If you are trying to figure out how spyware works and the best programs to use against it, you are on the right track.  It comes as no surprise that the number of victims that fall prey to PC Antispyware grows continuously.  This professional-looking piece of rogue (fake) anti-spyware is stubborn and resilient.

Usually, it is downloaded and installed through Trojans that fly under the radar.  They can easily evade security settings and anti-virus programs.  It may even bypass some anti-spyware programs.  You can visit a dozen of different tech blogs and see that this program has easily gotten past their spyware programs.  In some cases, it has even prevented the current anti-spyware program from loading their services.  This makes it impossible to scan the computer.  In effect, your anti-spyware program is now useless.

Immediately after PC Antispyware is installed, it starts to show false error messages.  It will constantly badger you with scare tactics to get you to buy the full version of the program.  Do not buy this program!  If you happen to buy this program (for twice the market value of real programs), you may see the pop-ups stop.

Get ready for the real problems to start.  It will constantly run in the background as soon as you start up Windows, enabling it to update your computer with well-hidden files and take over your registry.  This slows your computer down dramatically and also hijacks your Internet connection.  You may find yourself redirected to sites that are trying to sell you something based on the information that PC Antispyware sold to them from your stolen browsing history.

Does this sound familiar?  Do you just want to figure out how to get rid of it, NOW?  Of course, you do.  Some people may go the route of removing the program themselves.  The problem with this is that it is very difficult to catch everything.  If some of the most commonly used programs can't catch it, you may not have a lot of luck finding it unless you are a computer technician.

The time taken to remove this is excessive.  Expect to sit down for a whole afternoon and try to find PC Antispyware's files.  If you miss something, this program can easily reboot and repair itself the next time you start your computer.

The best route to go in removing PC Antispyware is to find a reputable company with a 100%  removal guarantee.  There are hundreds of anti-spyware programs out there that are the “real” thing, but they may not be able to detect all the latest updates and definitions.  Some anti-spyware programs will employ a robot to constantly search the Web for spyware, updates, and definitions.  These programs are very effective, but there are only a handful out there.  Finding the right software will help you surf the 'Net worry-free.

How do I get rid of the Security Toolbar 7.1 and Virus associated with it w/o using antispyware services?

My daughter recently downloaded this by mistake and has caused a virus on my PC-Tried system restore, that was useless. Tried to find the toolbar in add/remove programs, its nowhere to be found. Searched all program files and folders, nowhere to be found there either but nonetheless, it is still on my computer along with a scan called "Antispyware Check" which also cannot be found or deleted-PLEASE HELP!

I would do the following:
